Recreational Program
The Norwood District High School Hockey Skills Academy Recreational Program is a semestered healthy active living credit offered to boys and girls in grades 9 to 12 with the following aims:
1. To improve the ice hockey skill level of the student while complimenting their continued involvement in minor hockey within their home community.
2. To provide students with 40 hours of on-ice hockey skills sessions at the neighbouring state-of-the-art Aphodel-Norwood Community Centre and 40 hours of off-ice hockey skills sessions for a total of 80 hours of hockey skills training for the semester.
Program Costs:
The Program per year costs $300.00. As a part of the fee, the students receive a t-shirt in each year they participate in the program and a Hockey Canada Skills Academy jersey in their first year in the program.
